Dual Temperature Wine Cooler

In order to conserve space and consolidate storage, most if not all of the major wine cooler manufacturers also offer various models of a dual temperature wine cooler. These could be built in or under counter wine coolers.

A dual temperature wine cooler will have two separate compartments that will be set to accommodate either white wines or red wines. As most of us already know, white wines are usually stored at lower temperatures than reds, at about F. A dual temperature wine cooler will have two separate temperature settings assigned to each compartment. These units are perfect for the wine lover who cherishes his or her whites as well as the reds.

Below you will find a list of our favorite dual temperature wine cooler:

Whynter’s 21 bottle dual temperature wine cooler can fit 21 bottles: 6 on the top zone and 15 in the lower compartment. Obviously if you are a red wine lover, you would keep your whites in the upper zone! This unit is great for its energy efficiency, as its cooling system is 100% thermoelectric which reduces vibration, has no moving parts and does not expel CFC’s into the atmosphere.

The upper zone offers a temperature range from 44°F to 66°F, and the lower zone can cool your reds as its range is from 50°F to 66°F.

Both zones provide a clear LCD temperature display and controls. Bottles are stored on stainless steel scalloped chrome shelves that can slide out. The door is made of stainless steel trim. And last but not least, the Whynter dual temperature wine cooler has a soft LED interior lighting to showcase your collection.
